Marie retired from an academic career, now focuses on creating and teaching bead art. She has exhibited wearable bead art and bead sculptures throughout the country.
A beader for 25 years, Marie has taught national, region and chapter groups. Her beading classes provide students with a path to use as a springboard for their inspirations.
Friday, 9 am to noon, 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm
You will have fun playing with four bead colors as you make this 24’’ Out of This World necklace. Only one beading stitch is required, the tubular herringbone.
We will make four happy segments and then learn to connect them with bead caps, a ‘sputnik’ focal bead and embellishment side segments of Czech beads, pearls, spacers.
$65 class fee plus $30 materials fee.
