Lisa Davis has been knitting and crocheting for almost fifty years, is a frequent blue ribbon winner in the knitting and crocheting categories at the Huntingdon and Juniata County fairs and took third place in the "mohair garment" category at the PA Farm Show in 2013 with a beaded lace shawl.

She attends Knitters Day Out in Summerdale, PA, as well as both Sock Summits in Portland, Oregon, and the third P3 workshop on sweater and shawl design in Wales.

A retired teacher, she practices her various fiber activities in a less than spotless home shared with two felines. Her latest fiber obsession is demonstrating spinning, both on a wheel and with a drop spindle.

For Advanced Beginner/Intermediate

(Ability to knit in the round on double pointed or circular needles; Fair Isle colorwork experience beneficial but not essential.)

Course Description:

Baltic (or Latvian) braid can decorate wrist warmers, gloves/mittens, or hats. Students will see several items with these braids and begin a wrist warmer or cuff.
